We are currently seeking to employ a dynamic and inspiring Teacher of Humanities (Sociology specialist) to join our Humanities team in motivating and supporting our students. This role will consist of mainly KS5 Sociology and KS3 RE with the opportunity to teach KS4 RE and/or KS5 Psychology for the right candidate. Humanities is a popular faculty within the school and Sociology is one of the most popular A level subjects. Our post-16 provision is rapidly growing, and with this the number of students that opt for Social Science.
The ideal candidate will teach KS5 Sociology and will be able to offer another Humanities subject such as RE and/or Psychology.
The Humanities Department is an innovative, experienced and collaborative team who strive to guide our students towards their goals. You will be joining a well-organised, supportive team of professionals. The department is well resourced, and staff are committed and hard-working. You will receive high quality support and CPD from expert colleagues who will coach and guide you through your professional development.
