St Peter's School is seeking to appoint a proactive, organised and highly motivated Premises & Compliance Manager to play a key role in ensuring our school environment is safe, secure, compliant and well-maintained for all students, staff and visitors. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong organisational skills, a sound knowledge of health and safety and compliance requirements, and a commitment to supporting the effective operation of a busy secondary school.
As Premises & Compliance Manager, you will take responsibility for the coordination and completion of statutory compliance activities across the school, including:
- Risk assessments
- Compliance testing
- Contractor management
- Monitoring of remedial actions
You will ensure that essential maintenance records, compliance registers and site documentation are maintained accurately and that the school continues to meet all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. You will lead on compliance processes, coordinate maintenance and contractor activities, monitor utilities and contracts, and contribute to the effective management of the school site and facilities. You will also play an important role in ensuring the school remains operationally ready each day and support the planning and delivery of site improvement projects.
The successful candidate will have experience in premises, facilities, estates or compliance management and possess a strong understanding of health and safety legislation. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities effectively, and confident in working with a wide range of stakeholders. Excellent administrative, communication and problem-solving skills are essential, together with a proactive and flexible approach to supporting the school's operational needs.
