Responsible to: Administration Manager

Hours: 37.5hours per week Monday-Friday 8.00am-4:00pm (half an hour unpaid lunch break)

5 days out of6. Saturday working on a rota basis during term time

Salary: Β£27,867 p.a. (Point 3 on theSt Peter's Support Scale)

Overallpurpose of the post:

To provide a professional reception tovisitors, parents, staff and pupils, and support the administration functionsof the School Office.

Keyresponsibilities:

  1. 1. Act as the first point ofcontact for visitors, parents and pupils, ensuring a warm professionalreception service while upholding safeguarding protocols, including accuratevisitor sign-in procedures.
  2. 2. Answer and direct phone calls,emails, and in-person queries efficiently and courteously.
  3. 3. Maintain a visitor calendarensuring appointments and meetings are logged. Coordinate room booking,catering and hospitality, parking, and any other logistical requirements.
  4. 4. Maintain the pupil register byrecording daily attendance, absences, and punctuality, and associated tasks,ensuring compliance is followed.
  5. 5. Support administrative taskssuch as photocopying, filing, and data entry.
  6. 6. Monitor and replenish officesupplies. Procurement of stationery and supplies for various departments.
  7. 7. Responsibilities are subject tochange and may include other responsibilities as needed to meet the objectivesof the School Office.
