Salary: Β£26.70 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities

Weare looking for an enthusiastic coach to join the coaching team to work withchildren of all ages and abilities. Thisis a casual role with expected hours to be two hours each Wednesday andSaturday (13:30-15:30) for two terms, the third term has varying hours, butplease note a casual role has no guarantee of any fixed working pattern.

Thesuccessful candidate should hold a minimum of a Level 2 Coaching qualificationand have previous coaching experience.

General

  • To help prepare training plans and to coordinate and run small group training sessions, adapting to the needs of groups or individual pupils as required.
  • To ensure that individual progress is monitored and recorded in the pupil's individual Academy booklet, including identifying areas for further development.
  • To keep up to date with developments within your specific sport, produce innovative ideas and ensure that best practice is adopted.
  • To ensure the Health and Safety policy is implemented and that all equipment is checked and pupils are taught how to use it safely.
  • To be a positive role model, by creating a fun and safe environment within which pupils are motivated and encouraged to fully participate
