We are seeking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil in Reception. The successful candidate will help the pupil access and engage with classroom learning, understand expectations, and participate effectively in both structured and unstructured group learning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer a nurturing, patient and supportive approach, enabling the pupil to develop confidence, independence and positive relationships with others.
- Implement strategies and intervention programmes under the direction of the class teacher and external professionals, including Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.
Qualifications
- Experience and expertise in supporting children with speech, language and communication needs are highly desirable.
- A good standard of English and Mathematics is essential.
