St Peter’s Preparatory School, Lympstone seeks a part-time school cleaner to join our housekeeping team. The salary is £8,615 per annum, inclusive of statutory paid holiday entitlement.
Responsibilities:
- Work unsupervised for 15 hours per week during term-time (Monday to Friday, 06:30–09:30 or 17:00–20:00). There may be some flexibility to start and finish later than these times if required and this can be discussed at interview.
- Provide cover for absent cleaners in other areas as required.
- Complete a further 90 hours across the three main school holidays (Christmas, Easter, Summer) for deep-cleaning.
Requirements:
- Prior experience of domestic or commercial cleaning.
- Good knowledge of health and safety, with an awareness and understanding of a school environment.
- Reasonable level of physical fitness, as it involves moving equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in different environments around the school.

- St Peter’s Preparatory School is a short commute from Exmouth, Woodbury, Topsham and Exeter. Parking is available on site.
