Are you a responsible and friendly individual with a passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of children? Join our team as a School Minibus Driver and make a difference in our pupils’ daily commute. St Peter’s Preparatory School, Lympstone is seeking a suitably qualified and competent driver to operate one of our 9-seater school minibuses. A PCV (CPC) qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. This is a permanent, term-time only position.
Salary: £10,168 per annum (including paid holiday entitlement). Working hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday – two hours each morning (from 06:30) and two hours each afternoon (from 16:45), plus any agreed additional paid daytime hours to transport pupils on trips, visits and sporting events.
Responsibilities
- Drive pupils safely and punctually in the 9-seater minibus.
- Maintain the vehicle’s appearance, cleanliness and safety standards.
- Dress in the prescribed uniform and adhere to high standards of driving behaviour.
- Assist with the organisation of trips, visits and sporting events as required.
- Undergo pre-employment screening, including a full child protection check, DBS and past-employer references.
