Are you a responsible and friendly individual with a passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of children? Join our team as a School Minibus Driver and make a difference in our pupils’ daily commute.

St Peter’s Preparatory School, Lympstone is seeking a suitably qualified and competent driver to drive pupils on one of our 9-seater School minibuses. A PCV (CPC) qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is a permanent, term-time only position, for which the salary is £10,168 per annum (including paid holiday entitlement). The successful candidate will work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, two hours each morning (from 06:30) and two hours each afternoon (from 16:45) plus any agreed additional paid daytime hours to transport pupils on trips, visits and sporting events.

Good interpersonal skills, a commitment to safeguarding pupils and a knowledge of driving health and safety are essential, as is a positive attitude and awareness and understanding of a school environment. Driving liveried vehicles, minibus drivers are expected to wear a uniform and to maintain high standards of driving, appearance and behaviour.

St Peter’s Preparatory School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Shortlisted candidates will undergo an online check. The successful candidate will also be required to complete full child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
