Are you a responsible and friendly individual with a passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of children? Join our team as a School Minibus Driver and make a difference in our pupils’ daily commute. St Peter’s Preparatory School, Lympstone is seeking a suitably qualified and competent driver to drive pupils on one of our 9-seater School minibuses.
A PCV (CPC) qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. This is a permanent, term-time only position, for which the salary is £10,168 per annum (including paid holiday entitlement). The successful candidate will work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, two hours each morning (from 06:30) and two hours each afternoon (from 16:45) plus any agreed additional paid daytime hours to transport pupils on trips, visits and sporting events.
Good interpersonal skills, a commitment to safeguarding pupils and a knowledge of driving health and safety are essential, as is a positive attitude and awareness and understanding of a school environment. Driving liveried vehicles, minibus drivers are expected to wear a uniform and to maintain high standards of driving, appearance and behaviour.
