About the Role
Based at our warehouse in Avonmouth, you will be a member of our logistics team supporting house clearance and furniture collection and delivery services across Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Carry out house clearances, ensuring items are handled and loaded safely.
- Collect and deliver furniture to shops and other locations.
- Move stock between St Peters Hospice Shops.
- Provide logistics support for events and fundraising activities.
- Provide occasional logistics support to charity shops and fundraising activities.
- Use heavy lifting and unloading skills; this is a physically demanding role.
Qualifications
- Be able to use your own initiative.
- Work effectively without constant supervision.
- Manage workloads and meet deadlines and schedules.
- Deal politely and professionally with members of the public.
- Hold a full and current UK driving licence.
- Have strong teamworking skills.
