About the Role

Based at our warehouse in Avonmouth, you will be a member of our logistics team supporting house clearance and furniture collection and delivery services across Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out house clearances, ensuring items are handled and loaded safely.
  • Collect and deliver furniture to shops and other locations.
  • Move stock between St Peters Hospice Shops.
  • Provide logistics support for events and fundraising activities.
  • Provide occasional logistics support to charity shops and fundraising activities.
  • Use heavy lifting and unloading skills; this is a physically demanding role.

Qualifications

  • Be able to use your own initiative.
  • Work effectively without constant supervision.
  • Manage workloads and meet deadlines and schedules.
  • Deal politely and professionally with members of the public.
  • Hold a full and current UK driving licence.
  • Have strong teamworking skills.
