About the role: The role is varied and offers you the opportunity to work on a wide range of marketing and communications projects to support our fundraising, clinical and retail teams, as well as elevating our brand message.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver marketing campaigns for retail, fundraising and community events, using both on- and offline external channels and tactics.
- Write and develop creative briefs and project‑manage marketing campaigns from creation to delivery – including planning, design collaboration, messaging, media booking, print and reporting.
- Work in collaboration with stakeholders, building effective relationships to enable smooth and efficient job management.
- Consider all channels when planning campaigns, lead on implementation and work with relevant peers where necessary.
- Keep our communications plan up to date and identify opportunities to add value, trial new ideas, utilise split testing and data‑driven insights.
- Establish effective processes and relationships to ensure marketing campaigns and materials are delivered on time and on budget.
- Act as a gatekeeper for our brand, ensuring all outputs are on brand and in the St Peter’s Hospice tone of voice.
- Report on key marketing metrics, providing campaign evaluations and ongoing optimisation.
- Support marketing activities at fundraising, retail and wider hospice events and attend press launches.
- Help drive forward the Hospice’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion aims throughout your role.
Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 2½ years’ experience in a similar marketing and communications role, covering responsibilities listed above.
- Enthusiastic team player with enthusiasm, adaptability, empathy for hospice work and willingness to work occasional weekends or evenings.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
What we offer:
- Salary: £28,388 – £31,542, dependent on experience.
- Contract: Fixed term until March 2028.
- Working hours: 37.5 hours per week.
- Hybrid working (Long Ashton & home).
