Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck in Slingerlands, NY has an opportunity to help provide great care and work as part of a close team of health care professionals! The team is looking for a RN Supervisor to work part-time, 3p-7p every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - Tuesday on-call from 7p-7a required with additional pay.
Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck is a pioneering Green House long-term care community—one of only a few in the Northeast—designed to transform institutional nursing home care into a more personal, relationship-centered living experience. Our two ranch-style homes, each with 12 private resident bedrooms and baths, offer a warm, home-like setting with open country kitchens, shared living/dining areas, and cutting-edge safety technology. The Green House model empowers elders by preserving their routines, preferences, and independence. Nurses work in close partnership with C.N.A. caregivers (Shahbaz), creating a collaborative environment where relationships, trust, and individualized care come first.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and ensure continuity of nursing services across both Green House homes.
- Conduct timely assessments for residents experiencing falls, condition changes, or safety/behavioral concerns (e.g., suicidal statements).
- Support staff in the delivery of individualized, resident-centered care consistent with Green House principles.
- Demonstrate SPHP's Core Values and organizational commitment to ethical practice.
- Foster a culture of respect, learning, and empowerment within the small-home environment.
- Promote teamwork, communication, and shared decision-making among RNs, LPNs, and C.N.A./Shahbazim caregivers.
- Manage staffing needs, problem-solve issues and respond to family inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid NYS RN license.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Current CPR and BLS or achieve with onsite training.
- 1+ yr of experience as a RN.
Preferred Requirements:
- 1+ yr of experience in a leadership role overseeing staff.
- 1+ yr of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication in a fast-paced work environment across teams on different shifts.
- Strong engagement within a team setting.
- Contribute to a strong team environment and promote teamwork within the houses.
- Leadership and mentorship skills overseeing RNs, LPNs and C.N.A staff.
- Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field.
Pay Range: $44.00 - $58.10 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
