About us
At St Peter’s, learning isn’t just a journey, it’s an adventure (with plenty of glitter, sticky notes, and “Aha!” moments along the way). We’re a warm, welcoming school where curiosity is king, children are at the heart of everything we do, and tea in the staffroom is taken very seriously.
The Role
We’re looking for an inspiring Key Stage 2 Teacher to:
- Bring lessons to life (bonus points for dramatic storytelling voices)
- Turn “I can’t do it” into “I’ll give it a go!”
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons that spark imagination
- Keep learning fun, meaningful, and occasionally a little bit messy
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
You Might Be Our Perfect Fit If You…
- Have a passion for teaching and a great sense of humour
- Can explain long division and remain calm when glue sticks go missing
- Believe every child is capable of brilliance
- Enjoy teamwork, collaboration, and the occasional biscuit-fuelled staff meeting
What We Offer
- A friendly, supportive team
- A wellbeing day - an additional day leave to support your wellbeing
- Delightful pupils who’ll keep you on your toes (and occasionally make you laugh out loud)
- Opportunities for professional development and growth
- A school community where your ideas are valued and celebrated
