We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational teacher of Physical Education to join our department as Second in PE. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious practitioner to play a key role in driving standards, supporting departmental development and contributing to the strategic direction of PE within the school.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a dynamic, inspirational and highly effective teacher of Physical Education.
  • Be an excellent, reflective classroom practitioner, capable of delivering consistent, outstanding teaching in GCSE and A Level PE.
  • Demonstrate an evidenced record of securing high-quality teaching and exceptional student progress.
  • Support the Head of Department in leading and developing the curriculum, assessment and quality assurance processes.
  • Be highly organised, with the ability to lead and coordinate courses, manage assessment deadlines and ensure consistency across the department.
  • An inspiring leader and role model, capable of motivating both students and colleagues, with the vision and drive to build on the continued success of the department.
  • Play a central role in developing extra-curricular provision and competitive sport, promoting our vision of Sport for All for Life.
  • Hold a full driving licence to support fixtures and wider sporting commitments.
