Job Details:

  • Location: St Peter & St James Hospice, BN8 4ED
  • Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Weekly working hours: 37.5 hours (Monday – Friday with occasional weekends)
  • Shift times: Working hours can be flexible between 9.00am - 5:00pm and 10.30am - 6:30pm
  • Salary: £23,900 - £24,200 (Full-time equivalent)

Driving is not essential for this role; however, due to our rural location and lack of direct public transport links, candidates must have reliable access to suitable transport to attend work as required.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and offices to a high standard.
  • Using a variety of cleaning methods and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and infection control procedures are followed.
  • Maintaining patient dignity and privacy at all times.
  • Supporting the wider team in creating a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment.
