  • Educated at GCSE Standard including Maths &English.
  • Knowledge of First Aid and a current First AidQualification.
  • Ability to provide support for pupils; ensuringtheir safety, welfare and pastoral needs are met.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and anability to use IT effectively.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records andhandling confidential information.
  • An interest and commitment to work-relatedtraining.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, bothverbally and in writing.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cope with and adapt to change.
  • Ability to work with other team members and tocontribute imaginatively to team development.
  • Ability to work co-operatively and flexiblywithin a team.
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentialityand data protection.
  • Ability to act and work on own initiative.
  • An understanding of safeguardingresponsibilities when working with children.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure andrespond appropriately to unexpected situations.
  • Strong record-keeping and data-entry skills.
