Hours: 27 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 9:00am and 2:30pm - 6:00pm + 2 hours for planning and preparation).
Pay Scale: C5 £29436 Pro Rata £18476 per annum (Pay rise Pending April 26).
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to join our school team as a Wraparound Care Leader, overseeing our Breakfast and After School Club provision. It is an exciting time for our school community as we are embarking on a partnership with another local primary school - St Mary’s. St. Paul’s is a one-form entry school on the outskirts of Kingston with a passion for promoting a love of learning and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Both our most recent Ofsted and SIAMS visits highlighted that St. Paul’s has a strong community feel, where staff feel valued.
We are looking to appoint someone with:
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a creative approach to play-based learning.
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or a firm commitment to undertake Level 3 training).
- Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
- Ideally, current First Aid and Food Hygiene training.
- Ideally Level 3 Safeguarding trained (or a firm commitment to do this).

Key responsibilities:
- To lead the daily operations of the wraparound care provision (Breakfast and After School Club), including directing the team of staff.
- To take on the role of Deputy DSL alongside the Headteacher.
- To plan and deliver a range of engaging, safe, and inclusive activities for pupils.
- To ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in the club, including food preparation.
- To build effective working relationships with parents/carers and school staff.
