- Educated to at least A Level standard with GCSEsin Maths & English.
- Up-to-date First Aid and Paediatric First AidQualifications.
- Ability to provide support for pupils; ensuringtheir safety, welfare and pastoral needs are met.
- Experience of managing a team of staff and theability to co-ordinate staff rotas and staffing requirements.
- Experience of working with primary-aged childrenin a childcare, education or play setting.
- Awareness of behaviour management strategiesappropriate for primary-aged children.
- Experience of planning and delivering engagingactivities for children.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and anability to use IT effectively.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and handlingconfidential information.
- An interest and commitment to work-relatedtraining.
- Ability to communicate effectively, bothverbally and in writing.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to cope with and adapt to change.
