The governors at St Paul’s C of E Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced, full-time Site Manager who has excellent knowledge of building maintenance work along with excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads and who works well collaboratively.
What do we need in a new Site Manager at our school? Someone who is able to:
- Provide a caretaking service which ensures that the school is kept safe and secure and welcoming for pupils and the wider school community
- Ensure the safeguarding of the school through managing the physical environment and overseeing external contractors
- Prepare maintenance programmes and manage external contractors
- Look after the security of the school
- Ensure that the school premises and furnishings are cleaned up to an excellent standard. This includes managing the contract cleaning staff
- Provide a portering service
- Be self-motivated and show initiative
- Be keen to develop professional expertise
- Enjoy working with supportive staff, governors and the wider community
