We currently have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team, providing key SEN support within the classroom on a 1:1 basis and working closely with other teaching staff to ensure provision is effective and that learning needs are met. We are offering a term-time contract and an additional 1 week to include all INSET days and professional development.
Job overview
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll provide personalised SEN provision on a 1:1 basis and in groups, supporting the pupil in accessing the curriculum at an appropriate level and adapting the learning to make it accessible for students with specific needs. This role also involves providing pastoral support, and you'll monitor progress to feed back to the class teacher whilst working closely with relevant staff to ensure an individual can achieve to the fullest extent.
As a Learning Support Assistant within St Paul's Catholic College, you'll be able to make a key difference to a pupil's educational experience as a crucial part of the wider team, and will have the opportunity to develop your skillset with key training and development opportunities available.
