Our children are enthusiastic, kind and eager to learn. We are equally committed to our staff, providing a supportive environment where professional growth is nurtured, ideas are valued and achievements are celebrated.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join our talented and committed team from January 2027. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is committed to supporting and promoting the Catholic life, values and mission of the school.
  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner, or has the potential to become one, with high expectations for every child.
  • Is passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality teaching that enables all pupils to succeed.
  • Contributes positively to the wider life of the school and embraces opportunities to collaborate with colleagues.
  • Has high expectations of pupils' achievement, behaviour and personal development.
  • Is reflective, enthusiastic and committed to continuous professional development.
  • Has the ambition and potential to contribute to curriculum development and, over time, subject leadership.

In return, we offer:

  • Happy, respectful and motivated children who love coming to school and are eager to learn.
  • A welcoming, supportive and caring school community where staff wellbeing is valued.
  • A highly collaborative and dedicated team of colleagues and governors who are committed to achieving the very best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Excellent mentoring and support for ECTs, alongside high-quality professional development for teachers at every stage of their career.
  • Opportunities to develop leadership skills and take on additional responsibilities as your career progresses.
  • Access to collaboration, networking and career development opportunities across our wider Trust.
  • The chance to make a genuine difference within a school that is ambitious for both its pupils and its staff.

St Patrick's Catholic Primary School is a proud member of the Cardinal Newman Catholic Educational Trust, providing opportunities for collaboration across a family of schools united by a shared commitment to excellence in Catholic education.

If you are an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about helping children thrive, and you are looking to join a school where you will be supported, challenged and valued, we would love to hear from you.
