Due to continued growth and expansion, St Pancras Clinical Research (SPCR) is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join our dynamic team at our London site.

About St Pancras Clinical Research

Established in 2016, St Pancras Clinical Research is a UK-based Site Management Organisation with a UK wide setup. We conduct Phase Ib-IV clinical trials with new medicines, for patients with various chronic diseases. Our therapeutic focus is mainly CNS (neurological, cognitive, psychiatric, pain), as well as diabetes, kidney disease and dermatology.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Responsibilities
    • Provide leadership, management, and support to the clinical team to ensure smooth delivery of all clinical trials at the London site.
    • Oversee trial conduct including patient scheduling, resource allocation, data management, lab and pharmacy coordination.
    • Act as a point of escalation for clinical and operational issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
    • Maintain oversight of adherence to trial protocols, GCP, and all regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee Health & Safety compliance, training, and site risk management.
  • Site Management
    • Line manage site staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide mentoring, training, and support.
    • Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new staff in collaboration with HR.
    • Foster a positive team culture, motivating and empowering staff to deliver high-quality work.
    • Recognise and reward good performance, and address HR queries in collaboration with the Head of HR.
  • Administrative Responsibilities
    • Ensure site operations run smoothly, including room and staff scheduling, clinic activity planning, and vendor assessments.
    • Maintain supply/equipment inventories and oversee procurement as required.
    • Ensure office equipment and facilities are serviced and maintained.
    • Manage patient expenses in collaboration with the central Business Operations Team.
    • Support Head Office with documentation and training compliance.
    • Liaise between site and Head Office departments to ensure alignment of centralised and localised processes.
  • Engagement & Development
    • Lead site meetings, represent SPCR professionally to internal and external stakeholders, and strengthen community engagement.
    • Drive continuous improvement, implementing best practices across the site.
    • Support company-wide initiatives and contribute to SPCR’s patient-centric mission.
    • Be willing to travel nationally for business needs.

Requirements

  • Patient-centric approach to clinical and research practice.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • IT literate – proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A strong understanding and practical experience of ICH-GCP.
  • Experience managing a healthcare facility, clinic, or research site.
  • Role can be full time or part time dependent upon experience.
  • Be able to commute to the site location - London.
