St Oswald's Hospice is looking for a Retail Support Manager to work 37.5 hours per week between Monday and Sunday, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Closing date: 28 June 2026.
Responsibilities
- Providing on‑ground support to shop managers and teams, covering shifts when needed.
- Assisting with stock management, visual merchandising and customer service.
- Supporting retail fundraising events from setup to packing up.
- Working with retail teams to ensure consistent high standards across all shops.
- Maintaining a positive and supportive work environment in line with St Oswald’s values.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence with access to a car for work purposes.
- Confident and engaging communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- Adaptable and able to work independently.
- Passion for the charity’s mission.
- Comfortable travelling and working across multiple locations.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks required in shop and event support.
Due to the nature of this role in a hospice setting, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required if you are appointed. You must have existing right to work in the UK for this role.
