St Nicholas CE Primary School, Child Okeford is seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive team, working Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 1.30pm. This vital role involves supervising children during their lunchtime break, both in the dining hall and in the playground, ensuring a safe, happy, and inclusive environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising children during lunch and playtime
- Encouraging positive behaviour and good table manners
- Supporting children with any lunchtime needs
- Helping to set up and tidy away dining equipment
- Promoting safe and active play
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and has a nurturing approach
- Can work well as part of a team

- Understands the importance of safeguarding and child welfare
Safeguarding responsibilities associated with this role may include engagement in regulatory activity, such as administering first aid or supporting an upset child. It will have contact with young people on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will have to meet the person specification, and the post is subject to safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check and Children’s Barred List check.
