About the Project
The St Neots 360 Listening Campaign is a town‑wide social action project engaging over 100 volunteers to speak with residents across every neighbourhood in St Neots. Through three simple questions, the campaign will capture what people love about the town, what could be better and what they want for the future. This insight will feed directly into a live “Town as a Lab” experience at the St Neots Future Forum, helping to shape a shared view of the town’s future.
The Role
As a Volunteer Listener, you will take part in walkabouts across the town, speaking with residents and capturing their responses. You will be working as part of a small team, supported by a Listening Leader, and contributing directly to one of the largest community listening exercises the town has undertaken.
Key Responsibilities
- Take part in door‑to‑door conversations with residents
- Ask three simple questions and listen carefully to responses
- Record answers using a mobile‑friendly digital form
- Represent the campaign in a friendly and respectful way
- Work as part of a team and follow guidance from your Listening Leader
- Help create a positive experience for residents and volunteers alike
