The Big Listen is hosting a community event on 5th June 2026 in St Neots, bringing residents, organisations and local leaders together around one shared table. Through a series of talks and open conversations, the event creates space for people to share ideas, experiences and aspirations for their town.
As a Social Media Assistant on the day, you will be the voice of The Big Listen online, posting real-time updates and stories across our social media channels and engaging with our online audience as the event unfolds.
Key Responsibilities:- Post live updates and stories across social media channels throughout the event
- Capture and share key moments, quotes and highlights in real time
- Engage with comments and messages from the online audience
- Work closely with the Content Creation team to share visual content
- Confident and active social media user
- Experience as a moderator or in community management (desirable)
- Good written communication skills and ability to write quickly
- Comfortable working at pace in a live event environment
No previous professional experience is required.
