This role sits at the heart of creating a bold, visible and unforgettable regional event.

    • Track actions, milestones, risks and dependencies across all event elements.
    • Coordinate across partners, suppliers, venues and volunteers.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a central point of contact for partners with admin support, contributors and delivery teams.
    • Support coordination with speakers, sponsors, fringe venues and community partners.
    • Keep momentum and clarity across a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Operational Planning
    • Support logistics planning including staging, infrastructure, fringe sessions, stewarding and evening events.
    • Help shape volunteer roles, rotas and on the day delivery plans.
    • Support contingency planning including weather and capacity management.
  • Delivery Support
    • Play a key role in the final eight weeks leading up to the event.
    • Be present on the day as part of the core delivery team.
    • Support post event wrap up and learning capture.
Who This Is For

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Is organised, calm under pressure and good at bringing people together.
  • Enjoys creating structure without killing creativity.
  • Wants to contribute to something meaningful and community led.
  • Is comfortable working with senior stakeholders and partners.

You do not need to be a professional events manager. You do need to be reliable, proactive and committed.

Time Commitment

February to July 2026. Flexible but consistent commitment, increasing closer to the event. Expected to be available in the final weeks and on the event day.

What You’ll Get
  • All reasonable expenses covered.
