The Big Listen is a community event taking place on 5th June 2026 in St Neots, bringing residents, organisations and local leaders together around one shared table. Through a series of talks and open conversations, the event creates space for people to share ideas, experiences and aspirations for their town.

As a Hospitality Host, you will be the first point of contact for our VIP guests and speakers, ensuring they feel warmly welcomed and well looked after from the moment they arrive until the event concludes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome VIP guests and speakers on arrival and ensure they are comfortable
  • Escort VIPs to the correct areas and introduce them to relevant people
  • Ensure VIP needs are attended to throughout the event
  • Act as a calm, professional and friendly point of contact at all times
  • Liaise with the events team if any issues or requests arise
What We Are Looking For:
  • Warm, professional and welcoming manner
  • Good interpersonal skills and confidence working with senior or high-profile guests
  • Interest or experience in hospitality (desirable)
  • First aid trained or interest in taking first aid training (desirable)

No previous professional experience is required.
