The Big Listen is a community event taking place on 5th June 2026 in St Neots, bringing residents, organisations and local leaders together around one shared table. Through a series of talks and open conversations, the event creates space for people to share ideas, experiences and aspirations for their town.
As a Content Creator, you will help build excitement around The Big Listen in the run-up to the event by filming and editing short-form video content. You will create clips featuring speakers and campaign videos that bring the event to life online.
Key Responsibilities:- Film and edit short-form video content to promote the event pre-launch
- Create clips featuring speakers, attendees and behind-the-scenes moments
- Produce campaign videos that capture the spirit of The Big Listen
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Content & Storytelling Lead
- Experience as a content creator or active social media user with video skills
- Comfortable filming and editing short-form content (Reels, TikToks, etc.)
- Creative eye and ability to tell stories visually
- Self‑motivated and able to manage content production with minimal direction
- No previous professional experience is required.
- Real campaign content for your portfolio
- Experience collaborating with a community‑focused media team
- Networking with local speakers, organisations and creatives
