We are looking to recruit Housing Support Workers to support clients living in self‑contained accommodation across Sutton. The service provides up to 130 short‑term beds for an average stay of 2 years, with the aim of finding suitable move‑on arrangements and assisting clients within a multi‑agency approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide person‑centred support to clients, managing tenancies and helping to achieve independence.
- Maintain a supportive environment for adults with complex needs and apply strong housing management skills.
- Work with an experienced team and receive comprehensive training and full induction.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the needs of homeless and vulnerable people, especially those with complex needs.
- Dedication, personal resilience and a relationship‑based, non‑judgemental approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with external agencies.
- Good working knowledge of homeless clients and the challenges they face.
