At St Monica Trust, we create communities where older people flourish. As a Senior Hospitality Assistant, you'll work alongside our Chef to prepare, cook and present exceptional food and service - ensuring every meal brightens our residents' day.

What You'll Be Doing
- Creating and Serving: Prepare, cook, and present food and drinks tailored to residents' needs - from light snacks to full meals.
- Supporting Culinary Excellence: Assist with garnishing, making sauces, and preparing simple dishes such as omelettes, paninis, and sandwiches.
- Taking Charge: Deputise for the Chef during breakfast and evening meal services, ensuring consistent quality.
- Enhancing Presentation: Collaborate with Resident Support Assistants to plate and present food attractively.
- Ensuring Compliance: Conduct daily checks on temperature control, food labelling, and allergen management to maintain high standards of food safety.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Oversee kitchen cleanliness, manage washing up duties, and secure a safe kitchen closure each day.
- Optimising Supplies: Assist with stock management, rotation, ordering, and minimising food waste.

What You'll Bring
- A Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification and a good standard of GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
