Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver holistic care to residents, including personal care, mobility assistance, medication support, infection control, dementia and end-of-life care, and managing supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with volunteers, Wellbeing Coordinator, and therapy teams to facilitate meaningful activities.
  • Build relationships with residents and stakeholders, including key workers.
  • Assist with nutrition, serving drinks, and supporting residents during meals.
  • Maintain accurate records related to care and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate actively in handovers, team meetings, and supervisions.

Skills and Experience

Communication skills: writing notes, verbal communication, adapting to different needs, and following instructions.

Thinking style: analytical, adaptable, proactive in troubleshooting, and innovative.

Qualifications

  • Experience in care settings and knowledge of first aid, manual handling, hygiene, and relevant regulations.
