Job Description

The role of the Housekeeper is to ensures a welcoming and professional environment by keeping the spaces clean, hygienic and presentable. The role provides a quality cleaning and housekeeping service; and supports in the effective delivery of food and beverages to St Monica Trust staff and residents.

8 hours a week working every Saturday and Sunday 9am to 1pm

?Summary Responsibilities

* Comply with Health and Safety regulations and legislation and to report any situations that could be considered hazardous.* Provide full cleaning and meals service as required.* Ensure maintenance of stock of cleaning stores and equipment for relevant area.* Demonstrate and maintain respect for individuals' homes, living and working environments.* Build relationships of trust and act with professionalism with all visitors.* Provide assistance to other teams as and when required – e.g., spotting and reporting potential resident well-being concerns.

  • Experience of general cleaning and knowledge of cleaning techniques.

  • Worked within a care or dementia care setting.
