Job Purpose: To provide a food and drink service in a welcoming, clean environment for our residents/customers in our village cafe.
Key Outcomes/Results:
- Creates a welcoming environment for residents and customers in our village restaurants with a focus on customer service and providing a wide variety of food and drinks.
- Builds a rapport with residents.
- Provides a café/barista service in the village restaurants.
- Supports team members by assisting in the preparation of food and beverages.
- Responsible for day-to-day cleanliness, hygiene and washing up after a food service.
- Safely closes down the kitchen at the end of the day in line with protocols in preparation for the next day.
- Removes waste.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Essential: Knowledge and experience of good food hygiene practices, Knowledge of health and safety principles, Good standard of general education.
- Desirable: Food hygiene qualification level 2, Diploma (or NVQ) level 1 Catering/Food Service or equivalent, Experience working in a busy café/restaurant environment.
Salary Ranges: £26,227.50 - £26,227.50
