St Michael’s RC Primary school are currently seeking a Cook. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi‑academy trust. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to join our catering team, helping to deliver high‑quality meals in a safe, clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and cooking of food in accordance with menus.
Ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Assisting in organising on‑site or transported meal service.
General kitchen and dining room duties (e.g. washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables).
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and house‑keeping.

Qualifications

Is a team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Has experience in catering or kitchen environments.
