We’re currently seeking a dedicated Nursing Associate to work at our inpatient unit in Thirsk. This rewarding role gives you the opportunity to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care to individuals living with life‑limiting illnesses.
You'll become part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team providing holistic care in our Inpatient Unit setting. Your role as a Nursing Associate includes:
- Supporting patients with a wide range of physical, emotional, and psychological needs to enhance comfort and quality of life.
- Delivering care in our inpatient unit, assisting with personal care, symptom management, daily routines, and emotional support in a calm and supportive environment.
- Providing assistance with complex symptoms, medication, nutrition, personal care, and activities of daily living, in accordance with individual care plans.
- Contributing to overall care planning and documentation.
- Communicating openly and compassionately with patients, families, and team members.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (24-hour shift pattern, 5 over 7 including nights and weekends).
Salary: £30,741.35 per annum FTE, rising to £32,556.15 per annum FTE (45% of hours need to be in unsocial hours).
