St Michael’s Hospice has a dynamic Education team offering a variety of internal and external training opportunities to a wide audience. They bring a wealth of experience and specialist skills and are now looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the team in a new Teacher Practitioner Development Post role.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has at least 12 months post registration clinical experience, with a passion for working within Palliative Care to join a supportive team and develop the required skills to commence a career in Clinical Practice education.

You will be offered a bespoke development programme, based on your existing knowledge & skills, with protected learning time & support to access training, study opportunities and qualification pathways required for a Teacher Practitioner Role.

This new role provides the opportunity to enhance the delivery of palliative and end of life care in both practice and theory for yourself & others, promoting evidence-based practice internally and externally, whilst supporting your own career development.

What we are looking for:

  • This role is ideally suited to a Registered Nurse who has been qualified and practicing for at least 12 months.
  • Someone who has an interest in palliative care and a passion for learning, teaching, and sharing knowledge to support others’ development and improve patient care.
  • If you are motivated, willing & able to continue with professional academic studies & would like to establish a new career in healthcare where you are enabled to make a difference, we’d love to meet you!
