Your role as a Healthcare Assistant places you at the heart of our patient‑centred approach. You will ensure the provision of high‑level care—including palliative, end‑of‑life, complex care and social support—within a multidisciplinary framework across all North Yorkshire Hospice Care Services. This is a community‑based role throughout Harrogate, Hambleton and Richmond, and you will need to have access to your own vehicle and a current driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing compassionate care and support for patients' daily needs, including palliative and end‑of‑life care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to follow care plans, policies, and procedures, including infection control and safety guidelines
