We are reshaping our residential and outreach services into a fully integrated family assessment and support pathway, designed to provide high-quality, relationship-based work with families while delivering robust, evidence-informed assessments for courts and local authorities. Our residential parenting assessments remain at the heart of what we do—but we are strengthening how we work:

The Practice Lead is at the centre of daily life in the house. You will be responsible for:

  • leading shifts
  • coordinating staff
  • ensuring work with families is structured and purposeful
  • maintaining the quality of recording and practice

You will work closely with:

  • Assessing Social Workers (who set assessment direction)
  • Consultant Practitioner (who supports practice quality)

This role is about:

  • real-time leadership
  • supporting staff to do their best work
  • keeping the house calm, consistent and focused

We’re looking for someone who:

  • has strong experience working with families
  • can lead a team confidently and calmly
  • is able to guide, support and challenge practice
  • understands safeguarding and risk
