The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support pupils learning at St Michaels C of E Primary School. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment, helping pupils to develop academically, socially and emotionally while building confidence, independence and a love of learning.
As the successful candidate, you will work closely with teachers to support individuals and small groups, assist with classroom activities and help prepare and maintain engaging learning environments. You will build positive relationships with pupils, monitor their progress and well-being, and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive space where all children feel valued and supported.
The role also involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEND and behavioural needs, ensuring they can fully access all aspects of school life. We are looking for a patient, caring and proactive individual with strong communication and organisational skills who enjoys working as part of a team.
