About this Role
The role
Thesuccessful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFSteam to deliver high-quality education and care. They will help to create anengaging, inclusive and language-rich environment in which children feel safe,develop confidence and thrive.
Thecore working hours are 8:15am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday. We are particularlyinterested in applicants who are also willing to undertake additional paidhours within our wraparound provision, operating from 7:30am to 8:30am and3:00pm to 5:30pm. The precise pattern of any additional hours will be agreedseparately.
We are looking for someone who -
- holdsa full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- hasrecent experience of working effectively within an EYFS setting
- understandschild development and the statutory EYFS framework
- iswarm, patient and skilled at building secure relationships with young children
- cansupport communication, language, early literacy and early mathematics
- iscommitted to inclusion and supporting children with additional needs
- workswell with parents, carers and colleagues
- iscommitted to safeguarding, professional learning and high expectations
- isflexible and willing to support wraparound care where agreed
