Job Description

We are looking for an excellent KS1 Class Teacher to join our talented team. This is a part time 0.6 FTE (Wednesday to Friday), fixed term contract until August 2027.

Key responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences that engage, challenge and support all pupils.

Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using assessment information to inform teaching and learning.

Create a positive learning environment that promotes high standards of achievement, behaviour and inclusion.

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and those requiring additional challenge.

Build positive partnerships with parents, carers and colleagues to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.

Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.

Participate fully in professional development, school events and team collaboration.

Uphold the school's values and fulfil the professional duties set out in the Teachers' Standards.
