The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic family liaison officer to support pupils learning at St Meriadoc CE Infant and St Meriadoc CE Junior Academy.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils learning at St Meriadoc CE Infant and St Meriadoc CE Junior Academy.
- Work with children and young people, including supporting those who may be vulnerable or display challenging behaviours.
- Lead or contribute to meetings with external agencies and have previously worked within a school environment, supervising or supporting staff or groups of pupils.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, particularly those who may exhibit challenging behaviours.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant area, or can demonstrate significant experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEND, behaviour management and trauma‑informed practice, including knowledge of the PACE approach.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Patient, resilient and approachable, with a genuine passion for supporting children and families.
