St Matthew’s Primary School is looking for a SEN TA to join their diverse & vibrant school in September 2026. This could be supporting our children in a mainstream classroom or our complex needs classes. Whilst St Matthew’s is one of the largest primary schools in Luton, it has a calm, personal and happy atmosphere. Responsibilities

  • Support the teaching and learning of an individual with SEN
  • Work in collaboration with teachers, contributing to planning and assessment of SEN pupils

  • Be aware of the SEND Code of Practice

This role is a fixed term post from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027, term time only, 32.5 hours per week - 8:30am-3:45pm. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
