Join Our Lunchtime Team. Our lunches are staggered between 11:45am and 1:45pm and you would work 1 hour during this period, Monday to Friday, which equates to 5 hours per week, term time only. While St Matthew’s is a large primary school, it offers a calm, personal and happy atmosphere. We pride ourselves on everyone’s well-being being a cornerstone of our ethos, and the sense of being in an ambitious, supportive family is often commented on by children, parents and staff alike.

Looking to start your career in school? This role offers a wonderful opportunity; many of our previous MDSAs have gone on to become Teaching Assistants in school. If you are winding down to retire and want to work a few hours a week, this could also be a good fit. This role is for 1 hour per week between 11:45am–1:45pm, term time only on a fixed-term contract to 31st August 2027 initially. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS). CVs will not be accepted for any posts based in schools.
