Main Purpose: To contribute to the delivery of high-quality initial teacher education programmes through teaching, assessing, and supporting students on courses leading to the award of the BEd (Hons), PGCE, and/or Masters. Lecturers may also be required to contribute to other aspects of the work of the College as deemed appropriate by the Strategic Management Team.
Employment Status: The successful candidate(s) will be appointed to a register of Associate Lecturers in Music Education for a three-year period from September 2026 to August 2029.
Rates of Pay:
- £73.99 gross per hour for teaching (inclusive of preparation time, teaching, student contact time, and holiday pay).
- £44.40 gross per hour for administration and assessment required.
- The role holder may also be asked to undertake the assessment of students on School Experience; the rate of pay for this work is currently £133.20 gross per student to include preparation, assessment, feedback, and associated administration.
