Main Purpose
To contribute to the delivery of high-quality initial teacher education programmes through teaching, assessing, and supporting students on courses leading to the award of the BEd (Hons), PGCE, and/or Masters. Lecturers may also be required to contribute to other aspects of the work of the College as deemed appropriate by the Strategic Management Team.
Employment Status
The successful candidate(s) will be appointed to a register of Associate Lecturers in Music Education for a three-year period from September 2026 to August 2029.
Rates of Pay:
- £73.99 gross per hour for teaching (inclusive of preparation time, teaching, student contact time, and holiday pay).
- £44.40 gross per hour for administration and assessment required.
- The role holder may also be asked to undertake the assessment of students on School Experience; the rate of pay for this work is currently £133.20 gross per student to include preparation, assessment, feedback, and associated administration.
