St Mary's Kenmure is a secure care facility that provides a controlled, safe and supportive environment for the care and education of young people referred from the Courts and Children's Hearings, welcoming young people from across Scotland.
Each young person is entitled to and will receive a high standard of care from a team of experienced and qualified staff who strive to meet their needs and ensure their health and safety. We also offer a wide range of academic and vocational subjects to allow our young people to learn and develop during their stay, along with a variety of recreational facilities including a seven aside football pitch, gymnasium, fitness suite and a swimming pool.

We are seeking a professional, passionate, and committed Duty Manager to provide a vital leadership role to the team at St Mary's Kenmure.
By managing day to day operational matters in a front-line leadership role, you will ensure safety, inspire confidence in the team, contribute to our culture of support, set high expectations and drive forward positive challenge. You will make sure practice is delivered in accordance with policies and protocols, best practice statements, Secure Care Pathways and Standards and The Promise.
This position is suitable for those seeking a development opportunity, such as an experienced worker ready to progress into a management and leadership role or for an existing manager seeking to broaden their multidisciplinary experience and develop collaborative working skills.
You must be professional, knowledgeable, self-motivated, accountable, work well in a team and demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills. Being able to think flexibly and in a solution focused way are also key characteristics. You will be required to role model and share best practice at all times.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate how their professional values align to those held strongly by St Mary's Kenmure. You must also be registered with or eligible to be registered with the SSSC.
