St Marys Hospice Community Hub is a warm and welcoming space dedicated to providing essential support and services to individuals living with life-limiting conditions, their carers, and those navigating the challenges of bereavement. We pride ourselves on fostering a compassionate and collaborative environment, where both clients and staff work together to create a sense of community.

We are currently seeking a proactive, friendly, and motivated individual to join our team as a Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations at the Hub. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and callers, offering a welcoming presence and delivering exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include assisting with a variety of administrative tasks that support the Hub's programs and services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Main duties include:

  • Supporting the smooth operation of both the administrative and operational functions of the Hub.
  • Contributing to the overall success of the team while ensuring the highest standard of service and care for visitors, clients, and staff.

About us: St Marys Hospice provides care and comfort for patients living with any life-shortening illness or long-term condition and their family. We support people from the moment of diagnosis and their families for longer.

Role based at St Marys Hospice Community Hub in Barrow.

National Apprenticeship Wage: £37 per week (Monday - Friday, spending each Tuesday at Furness College).
