PCS Analyst (Super User)
St Mary’s Care Group
Salary: Dependent on experience
Location - Travel across homes within the group
St Mary’s Care Group is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking PCS Analyst (Super User) to support the effective use and ongoing development of Person Centred Software (PCS) across our care homes.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong PCS knowledge and experience within residential and nursing care who can combine their technical expertise with analytical skills to make a real difference to the quality of care we deliver.
The role will go beyond simply supporting colleagues with the system. You will take ownership of PCS expertise across the group, using data, reporting and insight to identify trends, highlight areas for improvement and help our homes make better use of the information available to them.
The Role
Working closely with Home Managers, Clinical Teams, Quality and Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring PCS is being used effectively, consistently and to its full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Acting as the group's PCS Super User, providing expert guidance, support and troubleshooting across our homes.
-
Extracting and analysing PCS data to identify trends, patterns, recurring issues and potential risks.
-
Producing meaningful reports and management information to highlight performance and opportunities for improvement.
-
Reviewing care planning, risk assessments, documentation and recording standards to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
-
Working with Home Managers and clinical teams to translate findings into practical improvement plans and measurable actions.
-
Monitoring progress and reviewing data to ensure improvements are being achieved and sustained.
-
Delivering training, coaching and ongoing support to colleagues to build confidence and competence in using PCS.
-
Identifying opportunities to improve system functionality, reporting processes and consistency across our services.
-
Supporting the implementation of new PCS features and sharing best practice across the group.
This is a hands-on role involving travel across our care homes, working directly with teams to improve system usage, documentation standards and ultimately the quality of care for our residents.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
-
Significant experience using Person Centred Software (PCS), ideally within residential and nursing care homes for older people.
-
Advanced knowledge of PCS and the confidence to act as a superuser and internal expert.
-
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract, interpret and make sense of data.
-
The ability to recognise trends, identify potential risks and turn information into meaningful improvements.
-
Experience supporting quality improvement, audits, compliance or care documentation.
-
Confidence delivering training, coaching and supporting colleagues with digital systems.
-
A good understanding of electronic care planning, risk assessments and the importance of accurate and timely recording.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels.
-
A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
Experience supporting multiple care homes, producing management reports or working within a quality, clinical or operational support role would be advantageous.
Why Join St Mary’s Care Group?
This is an opportunity to take on an influential role within our group, helping shape how we use technology, information and data to improve the way our care homes operate.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with teams across our services, influence improvements, share best practice and ensure PCS is being used to its full capability to support our colleagues and residents.
Salary is dependent on experience.
